Having recently completed his BAS at UCT, Leon joined the APS team to bolster his experience in preparation for his studies for an Honors in Architecture.

His work reflects a deep curiosity about the multifaceted nature of design. I see design as not only a combination of form and function, but also as a language shaped by history, nature, culture and belief.

I am particularly fascinated by the translation of drawings into tangible reality and how meticulous detailing, material choices and structure convey meaning. My academic work spans various contexts, exploring themes of land, memory, resistance and identity.

Thanks to his background in Visual Art, his creative process blends conceptual depth with practical awareness. He has a strong ability in visual and graphic representation, which helps him effectively communicate the development of an architectural project from the conceptual stage through to the final design.
